Review: Quickie Review: After the huge success of Ted, directed by Seth MacFarlane returns to make another comedy film which he also star. His character, Albert, living in the West, where everyone and everything is deadly. He loses your love Louise (Amanda Seyfried) and Foy (Neil Patrick Harris). With the help of gun-Anna (Charlize Theron), slinging it has a duel Foy shootout win your love back. A Million Ways to Die in the West, is a satirical comedy western which unfortunately does not provide a constant quality of the jokes. You will surely chuckle a few times, but generally is not the best job MacFarlane. Frankly, it's a bad movie that was advertised in trailers with best jokes.Full Review: I would MacFarlane Family Guy work and I especially liked Ted. So go, I was pretty excited to have a million ways to die seen in the West. However, in the second half, I realized that I was really bored. It hurts to say this, because I really like Seth MacFarlane sense of humor, but it just was not good movie. This is the first time we see MACFARLANE with live action role. We know that he has a good job with the voice animated characters, but as a live-action actor hes not the same quality. He really feel out of place, it more than he in a sketch show. In fact, the entire film feels like a series of sketches, each scene is only designed to improvise. It is so lost when all these gags work, which is not consistent flow of the story. This creates a two-hour movie feel more, because you just do not know where it is going and more importantly jokes arent even that funny. This brings me to the biggest let down of the movie jokes. Yes, of course, there are a few chuckles here and there, but even the worst comedies have them. At no time, I was bursting with laughter. Later in the film, it begins to rely on dick, fart and poop jokes. Of course, occasionally I can enjoy the jokes, but the whole scene is to get a laugh then I'm switching my brains out, because clearly the writers. You know, they ran out of ideas when they improvise resort to diarrhea. Dear Hollywood, stop a diarrhea joke, it was funny when I kid.Apart of the scenes from the trailer, is a cameo and a bar fight that I really enjoyed watching it. I think what will be very disappointed. With great expectations based on Ted There are certainly worse comedies out there than this. However, given the teams involved and put a million ways to die in the West would have been so much better. |
